“It is not fancy hair, gold jewelry, or fine clothes that should make you beautiful. No, your beauty should come from within you- the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit. This beauty will never disappear, and it is worth very much to God.”

-1 Peter 3:3-4

Acceptance is so high on the list of needs for our society. Everyone longs to feel accepted by anyone they come in contact with- friends, family, girls, boys, teachers, coworkers, etc. I certainly long to feel accepted. It’s such a sore feeling to know that you’re not accepted by someone, but we can’t forget that the refusal of acceptance of one person does not take away from those who love us and have enthralled us with an abundance of acceptance.

In another sense, it’s sort of sad to me that people don’t always accept others. Our God accepted everyone as equals. He loves each and every one of us the same, no matter what. If He is so accepting, is it so hard for us to be? One of my goals in life is to love every one I meet. I love to be happy around others because you never know what battles they’re fighting in their life. They may need your acceptance and love to get through the day.

I realize that this is sort of a rambled mess, but it’s important to me that people love other people. In an honest sense, we’re all brothers and sisters, so we should treat each other as such. Accept someone tomorrow. It could potentially change their life.

So many different things on my mind tonight.

“Let all you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:14

Prom was such a hilarious, wonderful night.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and laughs without fear of the future.”
-Proverbs 31:25

I’m really excited for all of the adventures this summer is going to bring me. I’m thankful for all of the people I’m going to spend it with. It’s bittersweet to know that it’s going to end in a lot of goodbyes, but I just need to learn to live in the moment- enjoy their presence while they’re here with me.

Today was not a very good day. So much worrying about the future.

So adorable.
